'Ulu from Root to Fruit
These workshops took place at Amy B.H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden in South Kona on March 12, 2011 and at Kua O Ka La Public Charter School in Puna on March 13, 2011. Workshop participants learned about breadfruit culture and history, propagation, planting, pruning, fertilizing, harvesting, preparing, cooking and eating. The workshop was sponsored by Hawai'i Homegrown Food Network, The Breadfruit Institute, Amy B.H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden, Kua O Ka La, and Ho'oulu Lahui.
